About

Hi, I’m Ann-Louise!

My PT journey began back in 2017. After the birth of my two daughters, I started to notice changes to my body, energy and general well-being. Having always been a keen runner (I’ve run marathons in NYC, London and Dublin) I decided to investigate my passion for fitness further.

Today I’m a qualified and experienced professional PT working with regular clients in the Ridgewell and Halstead area and beyond. I’m always ready to welcome new people to the SALT PT family.

Testimonials

Kind words from my clients

Having never been sporty and having spent my entire 45-year professional career in sedentary academic jobs hunched over a computer or laptop, I have benefited enormously from my one-on-one twice-weekly personal training sessions with Ann-Louise over the past five years.

Jane · PT client

Over the past 6 years Ann-Louise has encouraged me that you are never too old to exercise. I have increased confidence, strength of body and flexibility and as I approach the age of 78 I cannot envisage what my quality of life would be without my weekly work out.

Pam · PT client

At 77 years old, I have a few specific aches and pains, like most people of my age. One of Ann-Louise’s strengths is her ability to skirt skilfully and sympathetically around these weak spots. With such bespoke treatment the end of every session brings a sense of improvement and is bracing and positive.

Nicholas · PT client

Ann-Louise’s sessions are a great kick start to my week! I want to continue to improve my fitness but with a focus on building strength and maintaining muscle mass. Since starting the sessions I feel physically stronger and can see progression in my exercises. Good fun (generally!) too!

Martyn · PT client

I have absolutely loved doing Ann-Louise’s classes. I feel stronger, healthier and happier. Can’t wait to see what more classes can do!

Rebecca · Class member

I’m already feeling stronger with improved flexibility, strength and I can run around in my new job without getting breathless.
